Ludell’s Opera Collection by Soffieria De Carlini, Tocsa
DC-L20012Product Details
The Ludell Opera Collection is a series of five leading ladies from famous operas by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini. These ornaments were created as a collaboration between Luca Dell'Innocenti (of Ludell) and Soffieria De Carlini. They are a wonderful tribute--and a great way to bring a bit of the opera home. So stunning, you'll surely want them all!
Giacomo Puccini spent four years forming a French-language play by Victorien Sardou into his opera Tosca. Described as a dramatic political thriller, Tosca centers on a singing diva, her artist lover, and the corrupt and cruel chief of police. The police chief not only desires the diva Floria Tosca, but sees more than one benefit to manipulating her. You can probably guess that will not end well...
Floria Tosca looks every bit like the diva that she is. Her gold, empire-waisted dress is adorned with jewels and is overlaid with beautiful red brocade. Above the white lace neckline she wears a "ruby" necklace to match the jewels in her coiffured hair. As with the other ladies in this series, there is great attention to detail.
