DC-L20013Product Details
The Ludell Opera Collection is a series of five leading ladies from famous operas by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini. These ornaments were created as a collaboration between Luca Dell'Innocenti (of Ludell) and Soffieria De Carlini. They are a wonderful tribute--and a great way to bring a bit of the opera home. So stunning, you'll surely want them all!
La Boheme is an opera in four acts, composed by Giacomo Puccini to an Italian libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, and based on a novel by Henri Murger. It is a tragic love story set in Paris during the 19th century and is considered Puccini's most popular opera. At the center of the story of several poor artists are neighbors-turned-lovers, Mimi and Rodolpho.
This version of Mimi is shining in a red textured dress with white fur and black lace trims. She wears a brimmed red hat--complete with matching feathers, ribbon and bow--over her elegantly styled hair. Even her icicle-style "legs" are adorned with red glitter.
