This very retro recreation is from the De Carlini archive collection.

Penny’s Santa was originally produced in the 1960s. (See page 28 in the book Soffieria De Carlini, a family legacy).

Santa is shaped as a fancy silvered, drop ornament and is entirely free blown by a master artisan. The top of the ornament is painted a shiny, bright red with a glittered silver hat band. The ball portion creates his simple smiling face. There is a tiny finial drop beneath the face.
