Soffieria De Carlini, “Lumière" Candelabra
DC-V3578Product Details
What better name for a candelabra than “Lumière", which means “light” in French. This Italian free-blown ornament features a shiny gold brass candelabra with a central stick flanked by two smaller “arms”. It holds one thick central white candle that forms the character’s face. The arms hold smaller candle stubs. Brilliant orange fibers create the flame effect.
Many will recognize this sweet character from “Beauty and the Beast”, a fairy tale story attributed to French novelist Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve. He first published his fantasy tale in 1740. Many variations have followed throughout the years.
