If you own the De Carlini reference book (Soffieria De Carlini, a family legacy), you’ll find this sweet and friendly tiger among the pages.  He’s received a “makeover” but still maintains the integrity of his original 1950s design. He has a wide smile and lengthy whiskers.  His pipe cleaner tail and satin-finished ribbon are nods to his vintage heritage.

Enrico De Carlini founded his ornament-making workshop in Italy's Lake Como region in 1947.  Eventually, both daughters as well as his wife joined the small but growing business.  Thus, a “legacy” was born. These days, Enrico’s grandson Luca Terruzzi and his wife Sabrina carry on that precious legacy.
