This vintage angel is actually two ornaments joined together: the angel top, glued to the translucent bottom ball. If you collect vintage Italian ornaments, you will recognize this form. It appears on eBay from time to time.

Like the original, this ornament can sit or hang. However, the original version has no cap or loop pin. Buyers who wanted to hang this angel on the tree often resorted to attaching an ornament hook on the hanger or attaching a piece of thread around the neck. Now the ornament has a full cap for hanging.
