These antique scrap ornaments with tinsel trim inspired Scott's Victoria angel candy container design.

Scott sculpts, molds and paints each piece in his Michigan studio. In order to transform the one-dimensional ornament into a three-dimensional candy container, Smith first sculpts a colorless model. Details bring the design to life: individual feathers, hair curling on the forehead and facial features, pleasant but unsmiling.

Next comes casting a mold from the sculpture that Scott will use to create the individual pieces. Of course, it takes a talented hand to turn the blank pallet into the completed work.
