Why would I want a rotating tree stand?
If you love ornaments, it does not take long for you to collect more that you can possibly fit onto one tree. Not everyone has the space or the energy to decorate multiple trees. A rotating stand allows you to make the most of the tree that you have. It allows you to decorating every inch of the tree!
A Magical Display
Besides being a practical solution to using your space to its best advantage, placing your tree in a rotating stand creates a magical display in your home. Remember those animated department store windows that mesmorized you as a child? A rotating stand allows you to bring that sense of enchantment into your own home. Visitors to your home might just pull up a chair in front of the tree and watch the ornaments as the slowing pass by!
What is the best stand?
Celebrate365 readers and Glass Links discussion group members overwhelming recommend the EZ Rotating tree stand. I personally own three of them that have been in operation for at least ten years. I have never had a problem and I’m sure that I exceed the manufacturer recommendation as far as “weight” is concerned. Readers share similar stories. H M S MFG currently produces the EZ Rotating stand.

Connie,
Thanks for posting this recommendation. I’ve been talking to my
husband about getting a rotating tree stand for years and he just
can’t believe that one would actually work well. It’s nice to hear
from you and some of the others on here that this particular stand is sturdy and long-lasting. I guess this will be the year I finally get one!
Thanks for checking in, Kathy.
Other have reported using up to 9 ft trees with this stand. Another reported that they have used their stand for 11 years! When you divide that cost by the number of years you will be able to use it, the stand seems like a good holiday investment.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I’m going on my 11th year with my EZ Rotating Tree Stand, and I’ve never had a moment’s trouble with it. It’s great!

I have owned this stand for more than 15 years and never a problem.
Does anyone know if these are available in the UK
Toni, I’m not sure about that but with “big business” becoming more international now, I would say that there is a chance. If not, see if you can find a US retailer who will ship internationally.
Thanks Connie, I was hoping someone would know, I’ll try the American retailers.
Does anyone know if a replacement gear motor is available? If so, please email me at 6314661@gmail.com
I have used the EZ Christmas Tree Stand for over twenty years. Last year it began to short itself out which caused the pre lit lights on the tree to flicker. I rechecked the stand and found out the new pup given to my wife and I chewed on the electric cord. Thankfully the dog didn’t get hurt.
The EZ Rotating Stand was pricey back then when I paid $50. The price today is $150 and still feels pricey. I can say that it is very durable and you are paying for quality. One year we bought a new tree that included a stand that rotated. That rotator lasted a year or two the most. The EZ now sets the base for that tree. You won’t be disappointed. The nice thing is I can put the ornaments on the tree in the open space then slide it back into the resting corner of the living room. Enjoy!
