Celebrate the Holidays with Contemporary Style!

Oprah's Favorite Ornament

Twinkle, Twinkle!

Last year at this time, the Celebrate365 store had been tapped as the exclusive retailer for Thomas Glenn’s Hot Pink Camo. The glittering glass Polish ornament had been selected to kick off the “O List” of Oprah’s holiday favorites. Oprah shared the cover with Ellen DeGeneres.

Unfortunately, Oprah did not select a favorite ornament this year but the Thomas Glenn Collection continues to sparkle! In additional to last season’s original HOT PINK coloration, here are three variations currently available in the Celebrate365 store. And, if you missed last year’s version, it is now in stock!

Thomas Glenn Polish glass ornaments are not your grandmother’s Christmas decorations! They are contemporary and glitzy! In his “real life” Thomas Glenn brushes  paints on canvases. His art work may in found in several NYC galleries.

What’s new at the Celebrate365 store? Over 40 new listings in the De Carlini Italian ornament category! This small family-owned business began operation in 1947. Luca Terruzzi, grandson of the founder, now heads the business. His wife works in the office and his mother oversees the dressing and decorating department. You’ll usually find his dad around the glass blowing area.

When a retailer places an order, each ornament is custom created for that store. Once that order is completed, it’s air-expressed to the USA. Ninety percent of the workshop’s annual producation is destined for American homes.
De Carlini Soldier Ornament De Carlini Union Jack Fashionista De Carlini Royal Guard Ornament
Why do these ornaments cost more than many others? The answer lies in how they are created. It’s a truly hand made product from start to finish. Master glass blowers create each ornament individually. No two are ever quite alike.

Farewell to Halloween Give-Away

Do You Etsy?

My online life changed when a Celebrate365 subscriber in Houston suggested that I visit Etsy. She advised that I would find a variety of up and coming artists there. She was right! Many well-known folk artists still maintain shops there.

I love Etsy because it’s often a platform for new artists to lauch their lines and refine their ideas and designs. It can take a lot of browsing time, but it’s fun to "discover" talented artists who are just starting out.

Like what you see here? Take a look at their Etsy shops for a wider selection. Then, don’t forget to visit our Farewell to Halloween Give Away! The items pictured below are part of the festivities. You only have to leave a comment to participate. That’s easy!
