NM Houston Patricia Breen Event

Neiman Marcus Houston hosted a Patricia Breen brunch event, featuring four exclusive ornaments, a Gift from the Studio ball and an event medallion.

The Splendid Santa, pictured here, was just breathtaking with its snowy-white enamel background decorated in a spring green Chinese-inspired pattern. The piece sold for $150 and all attendees were able to take one home with them, if they wished!

Check back from more images later today and tomorrow.

First Fall Patricia Breen Event, Gump’s

SPLENDID SANTA

Santa’s coat is done in red enamel paint with white snowflakes. It is edged with white glitter, embellished with a green strip and red crystals. Santa’s hat has a wide “fur” band w/ holly decoration. It seems almost Russian in styling.

He holds a white, fully glittered, beribboned ornament. It is decorated w/ horizontal stripes of red & green jewels with a wider central band with holly leaves.

A version of this Santa should be available at each fall event.

BALLOON BOY, 2-part ornament

Think “Into the Blue” from the 2001 events! Instead of Santa, a boy hangs on to the the balloon. This ornament reprises Patricia Breen’s “Balloon Boy” from 1994-1996, a perennial favorite.

The balloon top is fully glittered in “gingerbread” tan with deeper brown snowflakes and ginger faces encircled with jewels in deep tan trim. The enameled “boy” figure wears enameled tan overalls w/ a ginger face pocket. He wears a white shirt and red baseball cap.

Height 6.50 inches
Average Retail Price $100.00

The first Patricia Breen event of 2007 … and the ornament exclusives seem to be crowd pleases. All of the event ornaments have Christmas-themed colorations.

Here is a peek at the ornament that everyone will be receiving with their event registration. It’s a wonderfully simple “medallion” in the true spirit of the Christmas holiday. The berries on the bunches of holly are crystal jewels and really catch the light. Patricia has used a dimensional paint technique to create Santa’s mustache. We’ve seen this face in the 2006 line. Can you name the ornament(s)? Santa is a “repeating” character!
