Debbee Thibault American Collectibles

I enjoyed a quick lunch yesterday with Debbee Thibault in Atlanta. She is previewing 4 new ornament prototypes. If you collect Debbee’s figures, you’ll recognize this little veggie guy! Debbee and Carolyn will be traveling to Germany in the spring to spend time “tweaking” the designs at the factory and getting some “hands-on” time with the painters.

Joy to the World – Atlanta

Here are a few photos from the Joy to the World showroom in Atlanta …

A Blustery Night Santa with Citrine Stones
Glizzerazzi Gemstone Edition

Peacock Trumpeting Santa

The new “Gemstone” Glitterazzi collection takes these Santas to an entirely new level of detail and elegance. Forget Swarovski crystals … think actually gem stones … garnets, rubies, pearls. For those who appreciate a coastal motif, last season’s “Wizard” no longer carries a crystal ball behind his back. This year, he’s a clamshell with a fresh water pearl peeking out. You really will need to see these in person. I don’t think photos will do them justice. I would expect to see these selling for $75 – $130. They will come specially boxed and include a certificate authenticating the gems used to embellish the ornament.

Greetings, Lowe Art Museum

The Lowe Art Museum, Miami Florida has received a special Henri Matisse inspired “Greetings” Patricia Breen ornament.

According to Lorrie Stassun, the museum gift shop director, the cobalt blue postcard ornament features a “Christmas tree in green with a big yellow star topper with yellow crystals.” Large red crystals from the tree’s bold decorations. A white dove soars on the card’s upper left corner. The card’s reverse side features a white dove stamp and the greeting: “Creativity Takes Courage.” — Henri Matisse
