My sister, Benita Giacherio, and niece, Brenna Giacherio, have joined the Celebrate365.com team. The three of us traveled to Atlanta’s AmericasMart in January. Workshop head Luca Terruzzi greeted us at the Soffieria De Carlini showroom.

The extended De Carlini family has been designing free blown ornaments in northern Italy since 1947. The showroom is a fantasyland of fairy tales, popular characters and haute couture models from Milan’s nearby fashion houses.

Take time to browse and see the dazzling new designs that will amaze and dazzle! You may place pre-orders for styles that you would like for Christmas 2019. Some ornaments will arrive during the summer. Others will not arrive until October-November.

Once you reach the $200 threshold in total orders, your shipping will become free when shipped together. We will refund any overages in shipping fees that you might incur.

The Krampus Tradition …

If you are a child in southern Germany or Austria, when St.

Nicholas rides through your village on the evening of December 5, he does not arrive alone. Krampus is his scary companion.

The Krampus, a terrifying horned figure wearing chains and carrying switches, runs behind him. It’s his job to scare children into being “good.”

The Soffieria De Carlini Krampus ornament depicts a classic German orAustrian Krampus clad in black with a scary red face, horns and elongated tongue. And, don’t miss that tail. He is truly a frightening character … as bad as St. Nicholas is saintly!

Soffieria De Carlini has been a family-operated glass blowning working shop since 1947. Located near Milan, the De Carlinis are the last workshop in Italy still producing these whimsical free blown holiday ornaments.

It’s been five years since the final issue of Celebrate365 went out to subscribers. And, I still have lots of back issues sitting is storage. I think it might be time to “let go”!

Brent Lawyer, the new owner of Thomas Glenn Holidays, is coming to visit me tomorrow, March 24. His new 2014 samples had not yet arrived from Poland when I visited his booth in Atlanta in January.

It is so sweet of him to make this effort. He’s in Chicago … I’m in western Ohio. That’s not a quick little trip!

Of course, I’ll be taking lots of photos and reporting in about what is new.

I’ve been going full tilt since coming home from Mexico … tax records in to the CPA this morning, so I have a little breathing room now. And, it is certainly time to play catch up with news!

I will do my best. But, the best news is that the STORE IS OPEN!

2014 orders will not arrive until fall … but I will be posting them online as soon as possible. I might need to increase the small quantities that I ordered!
